Directions

By train
Arrival by train

Deutsche Bahn offers one direct IC connection per day from Berlin and three direct IC connections per day from Hamburg to Binz, with connecting services from all over Germany. When travelling on other services, you will need to change trains in Stralsund and Lietzow.
Travelling by night train from Switzerland, southern and western Germany to Binz is pleasant (summer only).

The train station is only an 8-minute walk from the hotel.

Your personal itinerary

By car
From the direction of Berlin (east):
Coming from the A 11, take the A 20 towards Lübeck at the Uckermark junction.

From Berlin (west):
Coming from the A 19, at the Rostock junction take the A 20 towards Stettin.

From the direction of Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein:
Coming from the A1, take the A20 at Lübecker Kreuz.


For all then: Leave the A 20 motorway at the Stralsund/Rügen exit and take the B 96 motorway. Pass Stralsund and cross the new Rügen Bridge in the direction of Sassnitz/Bergen. Shortly before Bergen, change to the B 196 for 8 km and then follow the signs to "Binz" for the last 12 km. At the entrance to the town, look out for the blue hotel route.

The relaxed side street alternative:

Leave the B 96 motorway at the Reinberg exit (look for the valid ferry symbol!) and follow the country road to Stahlbrode harbour. Take the Glewitz ferry to Rügen (journey time: approx. 12 min.). Follow the signs to Putbus/Binz through the beautiful avenues of the "Alte Bäderstraße".


Please note: The beach promenade is the hotel's postal address, but it is closed to cars. Therefore, please approach via Lottumstraße (one-way street). The hotel entrance with reception is located there at Lottumstraße 28, parallel to the beach promenade.
By plane

Güttin airfield on Rügen is suitable for small charter planes and private aircraft. Travel time to Binz: approx. 25 min (see details below).

Parking in the Baltic resort of Binz


Due to the difficult parking situation in the Baltic resort of Binz, as well as the limited capacity of our multi-storey car park, we generally recommend booking a parking space in advance.
Our house only has one outdoor parking space, which is intended for vehicles over 1,85 m.

Our underground car park is a paternoster system
(lift system, max. pitch height 1.85m).
To make a binding parking space reservation, we require the vehicle height and length as stated in the registration documents (fields 18 and 20), as well as the vehicle type.

You can conveniently make an advance reservation by phone or email.

As an alternative to our underground car park, parking is available approximately 500 metres away near the main railway station. The parking fee is €8.00 per 24 hours and must be paid daily. (Information as of June 2026, subject to change.)
